AIFF Super Cup: KBFC, MCFC and RUFC locked in three-way battle for the One Semi-Final spot
The Islanders take on the Blasters in a must-win game, while Sporting Club Delhi prepare for the Rajasthan United challenge
AIFF Super Cup Group D is set for a thrilling final matchday on November 6, 2025, with Mumbai City FC facing Kerala Blasters FC in a must win clash for a semi-final spot. In the other Group D fixture, Sporting Club Delhi aim to secure their first ever win and derail Rajasthan United’s Semi-final hopes.
Sporting Club Delhi look to play spoilsport against Rajasthan United
The newly formed Delhi based club are out of the semi-final race after suffering back-to-back defeats against Mumbai City FC and Kerala Blasters FC in their opening two games, but would be keen to depart AIFF Super Cup with a first ever win for the club.
Sporting Club Delhi will rely on their promising young players like Ramhlunchhunga and Sourav and experienced players like Andrei alba and Riberio to trouble Rajasthan United defense.
Rajasthan United FC currently sits in second place in Group D with 3 points, having won their match against Mumbai City FC thanks to a late first-half strike from Robinson Blandon and anything less than a win will see them eliminated from the tournament. As for the Qualification Scenario, Rajasthan United need to defeat the Sporting Club Delhi by a margin of at least four goals and hope that Mumbai City FC defeat Kerala Blasters by exactly 1-0.

The match promises to be an intense encounter, with both teams vying for a spot in the semi-finals. Kerala Blasters FC currently lead Group D with 6 points, while Mumbai City FC are third with 3 points, trailing Rajasthan United on head-to-head after a surprise 0-1 defeat against them in the last game.
Given the intense nature of the match, MCFC will rely on the combinational play of Jorge Ortiz, Chhangte, Pereyra Diaz and Vikram Partap Singh to come out top against the Blasters.
For Kerala Blasters, Koldo Obieta has been in excellent form, by scoring 3 goals in two games, and the promising Korou Singh also added his name to the scoresheet in the last game with a stunning acrobatic kick.

In terms of Qualification Criteria, Kerala Blasters will progress to the last four, should they get at least a draw in their last group stage game against Mumbai City FC. Should Rajasthan defeat SC Delhi on the earlier game of tomorrow, the equation becomes complicated. The Desert Warriors need to defeat SC Delhi by a margin of at least four goals and hope that Mumbai City FC defeat Kerala Blasters by exactly 1-0. Meanwhile, in the event of a Rajasthan win against SC Delhi, Mumbai need to defeat Kerala Blasters by two or more goals.
If Rajasthan do not win against SC Delhi though, Mumbai City FC will need a win, while Blasters need a draw to make the last four.
