To help navigate this week, we’ve highlighted eleven players who could deliver big returns. With six of the top ten performing players being defenders this season, we’ve chosen a 4-3-3 formation to maximize points.
Goalkeeper
Prabsukhan Singh Gill (East Bengal FC) - ₹5.6 CR
Gill’s consistency in goal makes him an excellent pick, especially with East Bengal FC playing twice this week. The custodian, with three clean sheets in his last four matches, will aim to extend his fine form against Punjab FC and Jamshedpur FC at home.
Defenders
Anwar Ali (East Bengal FC) - ₹5.5 CR
A rock at the back, Anwar Ali has been ever-present since joining East Bengal FC. Ali could play a key role in both games this week with his defensive reliability and ability to contribute in set pieces.
Alberto Rodriguez (Mohun Bagan Super Giant) - ₹5.4 CR
Rodriguez’s last-minute winner against Kerala Blasters FC highlighted his importance in defense. Averaging 8.62 points per game—the highest among defenders—Rodriguez is a tempting pick, especially for those doubling up on the Mohun Bagan SG defence.
Mehtab Singh (Mumbai City FC) - ₹5.6 CR
Mehtab Singh faces a Chennaiyin FC side that is missing their playmaker, Connor Shields. With his impressive passing stats, Singh remains a solid choice for managers aiming to boost their defensive points.
Milos Drincic (Kerala Blasters FC) - ₹5.2 CR
Despite Kerala’s loss to Mohun Bagan SG, Drincic scored a crucial goal and will look to anchor the defense when they host bottom-placed Mohammedan SC. A clean sheet is within reach.
Midfielders
PV Vishnu (East Bengal FC) - ₹5.6 CR
With two home games this week, Vishnu is poised for significant game time. With his work rate and creativity, he could be an under-the-radar pick for managers. He has two goals to his name already this season.
Manvir Singh (Mohun Bagan Super Giant) - ₹8.4 CR
Manvir Singh has been instrumental for Mohun Bagan SG with three goals and three assists this season. His pace and creativity down the flank make him a must-have, especially if Jay Gupta replaces the injured Aakash Sangwan, who is more defensive-minded than Gupta.
Noah Sadaoui (Kerala Blasters FC) - ₹11.3 CR
Sadaoui has faced challenges in recent weeks but a home fixture against Mohammedan SC presents a golden opportunity to return to form. Expect him to lead the charge in attack.
Forwards
Luka Majcen (Punjab FC) - ₹8.6 CR
In red-hot form, Majcen has two goals and two assists in his last three games. His influence is critical to Punjab FC’s campaign, making him a reliable pick.
Jesus Jimenez (Kerala Blasters FC) - ₹8.6 CR (Captain)
Jimenez has been a consistent performer, scoring nine goals and providing one assist this season. Despite his team's poor form, the forward has returned regularly with only three blanks in 12 matches. Against a struggling Mohammedan SC side, he’s a top captaincy choice with the potential for a big haul.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie (NorthEast United FC) - ₹8.3 CR (Vice-Captain)
Despite a recent dip in form, Ajaraie remains the league’s top scorer with 11 goals. Facing a Hyderabad FC side that has conceded 10 goals in their last four matches, Ajaraie has an excellent chance to regain his scoring touch.
Substitutes
Hrithik Tiwari (FC Goa) - ₹4.1 CR
Tiwari offers excellent value at his price. Even against a challenging opponent, his shot-stopping ability could make him a handy backup.
Yoell van Nieff (Mumbai City FC) - ₹7.2 CR
With injuries affecting Mumbai City FC’s midfield, van Nieff’s role becomes even more critical. His passing accuracy and set-piece duties make him a strong bench option.
Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan Super Giant) - ₹5.0 CR
Bose has been one of the most consistent players in fantasy this season. Though he faces a tough fixture against FC Goa, his form makes him a dependable pick.
Lalrinliana Hnamte (Chennaiyin FC) - ₹4.5 CR
Hnamte’s likely set-piece duties in the absence of Connor Shields make him a promising budget option for managers.
