Entering the fresh year of 2024, the ongoing season of the ISL is set for its second leg following the international break. Let's take a swift glance at the players who played a pivotal role in helping fantasy managers accumulate the highest points in 2023 until Matchweek 12.

Rafael Crivellaro (Chennaiyin FC) – 60 points

Rafael Crivellaro showcased his sheer control of the ball and his brilliance with its distribution, which helped Chennaiyin FC dominate the midfield and enjoy more possession. The Brazilian attacking midfielder has been instrumental for the Marina Machans with his creative sparks and leadership qualities.

Crivellaro has scored three goals this season while creating 21 chances and earning 30 fouls for Chennaiyin FC. He has provided the highest number (5) of assists so far this season, surpassing Sahal Abdul Samad, Adrian Luna, and Greg Stewart in that list.

Sachin Suresh (Kerala Blasters FC) – 58 points

Sachin Suresh is one of the many reasons behind Kerala Blasters FC’s defensive solidity, making 26 saves so far this season. Playing in his debut ISL season, Suresh has established himself as the first-choice keeper under the bars for the Blasters. With his calm and composed attitude and decisive saves in crucial moments, the Kerala-born goalkeeper has been one of the crucial players in the team.

Suresh has five clean sheets to his name, which puts him in second place with Prabhsukhan Singh Gill, just after Arshdeep Singh and Amrinder Singh, who have six clean sheets each. He also became the first goalkeeper in the history of ISL to save penalties in two consecutive games.

Amey Ranawade (Odisha FC) – 54 points

Amey Ranawade has been quite impressive so far under Odisha FC head coach Sergio Lobera, with his defensive awareness and quick overlapping. Ranawade has 15 clearances, 20 interceptions, and three blocks to his name, which helped the Kalinga Warriors keep the highest number of clean sheets (6) this season alongside FC Goa.

Ranawade made 22 successful tackles this season, which ranks him just after Ahmed Jahouh (27) on the list of Odisha FC players to have the most successful tackles.

Jay Gupta (FC Goa) – 52 points

Jay Gupta has been one of the most promising emerging players so far this season. Gupta, who is also playing his debut ISL season, has shown enough quality and potential in him to become one of the best in his position. With his quick feet and mature understanding of the game, Gupta has been vital for the Gaurs both offensively and defensively.

Gupta has 10 interceptions and 23 tackles to his name, and he has also created 11 chances and earned 10 fouls for FC Goa.

Roy Krishna (Odisha FC) – 49 points

Roy Krishna is getting fine with age, showing his agility and rapidity in finding the back of the net. The Fijian striker created 13 chances for the Kalinga Warriors, which put his name just behind his teammate Jahouh while attempting 14 shots and earning 16 fouls for his team.

Krishna has scored seven goals this season, which makes him the highest goal scorer not only for Odisha FC but also for the league so far.
