With Matchweek 19 of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) producing some few surprising results, commentator Pulasta Dhar had the opportunity to select a playing eleven of the most standout players from the Matchweek gone by.

Dhar has opted for a 3-4-1-2 formation that features four Bengaluru FC players. The attack consists of big names like Kerala Blasters FC’s Adrian Luna, Hyderabad FC’s Bartholomew Ogbeche and Bengaluru FC captain Sunil Chhetri, with the trio playing a crucial part in their team’s respective wins during the Matchweek.

For the pick of the head coach, Dhar has chosen Bengaluru FC’s Simon Grayson, who features in the Team of the Matchweek for the fourth straight time.

Goalkeeper

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (Bengaluru FC)

The big save off Bipin Singh on MCFC's counter was a game changer. If MCFC had taken the lead the match could have gone either way.

Defenders

Anwar Ali (FC Goa)

He has been a mainstay in the FC Goa backline which was tested by Odisha FC time and again, and turns out it was an important point for Goa as they continue to stay alive in the top six race

Aleksandar Jovanovic (Bengaluru FC)

A big performance coming in for Alan Costa and an incredible assist for Javi Hernandez to cap the performance.

Chinglensana Singh (Hyderabad FC)

Returns after seven games and delivers a clean sheet with hardly a foot wrong. Looked comfortable and 100% fit and might not go out of the eleven until the end of the season on the back of this game.

Midfielders

Parthib Gogoi (NorthEast United FC)

Stunning goal against East Bengal FC, excellent performance and is quickly developing into a very exciting and expressive young winger.

Jithin MS (NorthEast United FC)

Was torn between Jithin, Anirudh Thapa, Jeakson Singh, Rohit Kumar, and Suresh Wangjam, but it is the goal and the willingness to get forward that swung it his way.

Javi Hernandez (Bengaluru FC)

Another classic Javi performance. From the moment he almost set Chhetri up with a through ball to the smashing goal from Jovanovic's run, he is now BFC's main man in the middle. Can drop deep, create, score. Can't ask for more.

Rahul KP (Kerala Blasters FC)

Showed why he is rated so highly. Also shows that if he leaves his temper at home, he can produce a complete performance. Created multiple openings, combined well with Luna, and has the audacity to pull off the unthinkable. Great goal as well.

Adrian Luna (Kerala Blasters FC)

Goal and an assist, he is coming into scoring form at the right time. Luna dominated Chennaiyin FC and were it not for him, Abdenasser El Khayati could be in this team, and Chennaiyin FC could have taken points off the Blasters. His tricks, flicks, and movement are simply unstoppable on his night.

Forwards

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Hyderabad FC)

Scored a sensational goal against ATK Mohun Bagan after coming on for the last 12-15 minutes. A drop of the shoulder and a finish that had his name written all over him. What a player. What a winner.

Sunil Chhetri (Bengaluru FC)

His best performance in BFC Blue in a long time. That sprint early on defied his age, his shooting was precise and his leap-hang header rolled back the years. Worth the wait to see him score a goal that ended MCFC's unbeaten run. Stepped up when his side needed him the most.
