Arata Izumi was bitterly disappointed after FC Pune City succumbed to their sixth loss of Hero Indian Super League 2016 against Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Friday evening. Kerala took the lead through Duckens Nazon in the seventh minute with Aaron Hughes doubling their advantage in the second half before Anibal Rodriguez scored a consolation goal in injury time for Pune. The loss severely dented their semis hopes leaving them in fifth spot with 15 points from 13 matches. Izumi, who completed one successful take-on, one successful tackle, one clearance and two blocks, spoke to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the game and shared his thoughts on the match.
