FC Goa head coach Zico has urged his team not to be overjoyed by their 3-2 win against Delhi Dynamos FC in the last game of the league stage of the 2015 Hero Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday.Delhi headed into the break leading 2-0 through goals from Serginho Greene and Adil Nabi. However, the complexion of the game changed big time in the second half as Goa staged a remarkable comeback through two goals from Romeo Fernandes and one from Joffre. At the post-match press conference, when asked as to what led to their revival in the second half, Zico said: “It changed because we didn’t see anything in the first half. I think we have to take lessons. We didn’t do anything in the first half. In the second half we created so many opportunities. We showed our football then.”Delhi and Goa will face each other again in the semis with the first leg set to be played in New Delhi on December 11. Zico also said that their win had saved both teams unnecessary travel.“Both teams will have fewer trips now. For us and them, it’s good to be here. The supporters and all will not matter so much. The trips matter more. The result at the end of the day was good for both teams. So if we had lost this game we would have had to go back and then come back here and go back again. It would have tired both teams. It’s good for everyone.”Zico also said their two wins over Delhi in the league stage this season won’t have any bearing on the semi-final. “Nothing to do [with our previous wins]. Every game is a different story. It’s a completely different game and we just have to focus on the semi-final.”The star of Goa’s win was Romeo who came off the bench and scored two quick goals. Zico was all praise for the player. “Romeo is a very good player so I had the option to bring on Romeo and luckily it worked. Sometimes the changes don’t work. But the good thing is that we can now look at the bench with confidence. I always tell my players that I don’t just have 11 players, I have 26 players, so all of you have to be ready. Only our third goalkeeper hasn’t played yet.”
