FC Goa head coach Zico is thinking of nothing other than maximum points as his side braces up to host Delhi Dynamos FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Sunday evening. The match against the Lions will mark the completion of their first-half of the league stage and Zico, whose team has four points from six matches presently, wants to begin the second half with seven points.“I think every game is crucial considering the situation we are in, it is important to win this match and finish with seven points here. We can treat the second phase as a new league and try our best,” Zico told reporters on Saturday.“The players are trying their best, they are trying to win. If you look at the matches, we have not been dominated in all our matches, the games were equal and we created a lot of chances but were not able to score. The players have to try their best, so that they can turn it around for us.“Now it is very easy to say if I had different players we would have been in a better position but I don't think like this. We can change the situation with the players that we have and do better.”The Gaurs so far have conceded 10 goals without a single clean sheet. Asked if that was a problem, Zico said: “Our problem is not the defence, our problem is the team. We cannot differentiate by sectors. Our team as a whole has problems. Our team can do and will do better than what we are doing right now.”Zico also defended striker Robin Singh, who has returned from injury but hasn't been able to contribute much to the Gaurs cause. “Unfortunately Robin Singh has not shown his 100%. But it is important to understand that is because of the injury and not playing for so long. We have other players in our squad who have not played for a long time, so they cannot show their 100% yet. That is why we are suffering,” the Brazilian said. When asked how many points will be enough for the Gaurs to make the semis, the 63-year-old said: “Twenty but it can be less than that.”
