Despite being bottom of the league table, FC Goa coach Zico is in a buoyant mood ahead of his team's third home match against unbeaten Delhi Dynamos FC. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, he seemed confident of his team's chances and is looking forward to winning his first match. He noted that luck hasn't been with his team in the tournament so far and that they would look to create their own luck. "Football never surprises me. We had chances in the previous matches and we just couldn't take them. This is the magic of football. Sometimes you play well and yet the other team comes and scores and you end up losing," he said. The Brazilian legend threw questions about formation and tactics out the window, stating that it doesn't count once the players are on the pitch. "I don't worry about formations. This thing of numbers isn't for me. When it's on the field, it is 11 against 11."Talking about how the tournament benefits Indian football, Zico had good words to say in general but suggested that there could be greater number of Indian players in the side. "We need more Indians in every team. This is the Indian Super League and having just five Indian players in the team is too less," he noted. There will be a selection headache for the coach with a few of his players out through injury and captain and marquee player, Robert Pirès suspended, but he insisted that all his players are valuable to the team's cause. "We don't think of only 11 players who will start, but all 27 of them. I've told my team they have to be ready at all times."FC Goa striker Ranti Martins who was also present at the press conference echoed his coach's words about his team's luck. "We have been very unfortunate since the start. We've played well but the ball hasn't gone in. It's all about patience now," he said.
