Chennaiyin FC attacker, Vincy Barretto talked about his experience of scoring against his former club, Kerala Blasters FC where he spent a full season and made 17 appearances for the Yellow Army and the mixed emotions he felt as he scored his second goalf of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season.

Barretto made the switch to Chennaiyin FC at the beginning of the current season and has done well in the blue of Chennaiyin FC.

The Marina Machans travel to Mumbai to take on Mumbai City FC as a crunch fixture awaits them as the Islanders will try to keep their top spot on the Hero ISL points table and Thomas Brdaric’s men will try to push for the playoffs spot as both teams begin their second half of the season.

Barretto spoke about his goal against Kerala Blasters FC and the upcoming match against Mumbai City FC in an interview ith the club media team.

You scored against KBFC in the last game, a team you’ve spent some time at. How do you feel?

I’m happy that I scored for the team and for my side, scoring against them it feels good you know. I love how the fans love me, from Kerala Blasters FC. So I will be always loving them from my heart.

This is your second goal this season. How have you liked your time at CFC so far?

I feel good to be here and helping my team to score goals and I want to score more goals to help my team.

Next up we face Mumbai City FC, so how is the team preparing and how are you preparing for the match?

We are preparing in a good way because we have already played against them. We are ready to play against them and we know how they play.
