We need to keep going: Mohun Bagan SG’s Jose Molina
The Mariners eased to a victory at the Salt Lake stadium moving to the top of the ISL table thanks to goals from Tom Aldred, Liston Colaco and Jamie Maclaren.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant head coach Jose Molina urged his team to keep the momentum going as they extended their unbeaten run in the Indian Super League (ISL) to five matches with a 3-0 win over Jamshedpur FC in Kolkata on Saturday.

Match Report: Mohun Bagan SG 3-0 Jamshedpur FC
The Spaniard felt the results are an outcome of his team’s work on the training pitch.
“It was a very good performance by all the players. I am happy but we need to keep going because we still have a lot of work to do. The job is not done,” Molina said during the post-match press conference.
“We always try to work so that we can score goals and defend better. If you keep clean sheets and score goals, then you win matches. We are at the top of the table right now,” he added.
Mohun Bagan SG’s wingers came to the party on Saturday as Colaco got on the scoresheet and Manvir Singh provided two assists. Speaking about making the most of their wide players, Molina explained, “We try to use the full width of the pitch. We like to keep the wingers open. If they come in, then the full-backs can attack. We have really good wingers who are fast, really good in one-on-one situations and also powerful, they can score goals too. So, they are really important players,”.
The Kolkata Giants have now won four out of their last five ISL games and have hot the title-winning form that led them to the League Shield last season. However, Molina feels there is still a long way to go in this campaign.
“It's really difficult to retain the form. ISL is a very difficult championship. If we want to remain top of the table, then we have to be strong every day,” he added.
Manvir has been in excellent form and has provided goal contributions in each of his last four matches. The Indian forward credited the upturn in recent performances to a good team bonding.
“We always do extra work in training. I was lacking in chance creation. But in the last few games we have been able to create a lot of chances. All players share a great bond and that is showing on the pitch,” he said during the post-match press conference.
