Jamshedpur FC head coach Scott Cooper expects a difficult test as his side prepare to face Bengaluru FC in Matchweek 10 of the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Jamshedpur currently sit in 10th position in the league with six points from nine games. They have lost five games, drawn thrice and won only game so far this season.

Bengaluru FC sit in ninth position in the table with seven points from 10 matches. They have lost five matches, drawn four matches and won one match so far this season.

Bengaluru FC have had a lot of changes in the last few days with a new coach at the helm. Cooper feels that these changes make Bengaluru FC a very unpredictable side for his team and he expects a tough test from them.

“It is difficult to prepare for this game. Because Bengaluru FC have had many changes in the last few days,” Cooper stated at the pre-match press conference.

“The only thing we could plan on was individual players. We expect a good match from Bengaluru FC on Saturday,” he added.

Jamshedpur FC have been facing a difficult period since the last few matches. They have got just one point from their last four games in which they have scored four goals and conceded seven.

Cooper believes that despite tough results, Jamshedpur FC have been on equal footing against all the teams they have faced so far this season.

“We have lost games by very narrow scorelines this season. We have not lost very heavily so far,” Cooper said.

“Every game that we lost we felt that we deserved legitimate points from that game,” he further said.

“As a coach I am not worried because we have created chances, we have not allowed teams to dominate us so far this season,” he added.

Nigerian forward Daniel Chima Chukwa joined head coach Scott Cooper in the pre-match press conference. He has scored two goals so far for Jamshedpur FC.

Chukwu acknowledged the support that his team has been receiving from the Jamshedpur FC fans. He and his fellow squad members are working hard to increase their goal tally for the team in the upcoming matches.

“This season has been great for us in terms of fan support,” Chukwu said.

“The most important thing is to keep pushing to convert the chances that we are getting,” he added.
