Very happy with the performance of my players: Odisha FC’s Sergio Lobera
The Spanish head coach expressed his delight after his side's dominating win against Jamshedpur FC.

Odisha FC head coach Sergio Lobera was delighted with his team’s brilliant performance against Jamshedpur FC as the Kalinga Warriors scored four goals past the Men of Steel to secure a terrific comeback win in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The Men of Steel went ahead early in the game through Rei Tachikawa in the 23rd minute, but the Kalinga Warriors' spirited performance, with Isaka Ralte, Roy Krishna (2), and Diego Mauricio, made their mark on the scoresheet.

Odisha FC continued their impressive run, extending their unbeaten streak to 11 matches with this victory. Sergio Lobera, elated by the performance, shared his thoughts after the match.
“Obviously, I am very happy because it's not easy in football to achieve something like this. Eleven games unbeaten, nine of them wins, and two draws. Today, the start of the game was not very good, but the team showed character. Perhaps the first half was the best 45 minutes we've had this season,” Lobera stated in the post-match press conference.
“I think we played very well, not only with the ball but also without the ball. We were doing a good press against the opponent team, recovered the ball quickly, and overall, our performance was very well,” he added.
“I am very happy with the performance of my players and I think they deserve to go into the break with this win,” the Spaniard continued.
The Kalinga Warriors had a busy month of December, but they performed well, securing four wins and two draws. The team will now go into the break before preparing themselves to defend the Super Cup.
Lobera believes it is a much-needed break for his side, a time for relaxation after the hectic schedule.
“We need the break; we need it because we played a lot of games in a short time. We played a game just three days ago, and today, we played again. We need this break,” he said.
“It's not only because of t the physical situation but also the mental situation. The players need to disconnect and enjoy time with their families, and it's good to go into this break after winning the game. I think it's (the break) very helpful for us, and we need to come back stronger, ready for the challenge, and to defend the Super Cup trophy,” Lobera added.
