Delhi Dynamos FC’s unbeaten run in the Hero Indian Super League came to an end following their 2-1 defeat to FC Goa in Margao tonight. The visitors’ head coach Harm van Veldhoven however was not too disappointed about his side’s performance despite the loss.“We’ve been playing really well at home and we created many chances against Chennai and Pune. In this match I think Mads (Junker) had two chances and scored one. It’s always harder to score in an away game,” he mused. The Dutch gaffer revealed that influential midfielder Hans Mulder was rushed to hospital after picking up an injury during the game. “He was sent to hospital the moment he got hurt at the back of his head, so I don’t know how bad it is. He had a problem with his shoulder before, I was really happy that he could stay on the field,” van Veldhoven said.Delhi skipper Mads Junker, who netted his second goal of the tournament this evening, elaborated on the effect of the two month plus tournament. “We have a tight schedule so you’re definitely going to have more injuries. That’s why the coach uses so many new players, there’s also a lot of travelling so it’s part of the fun and part of the experience,” said the former Danish international striker.
