New Delhi, Sunday, March 15, 2026: FC Goa will look to continue their unbeaten run when they face Punjab FC in Indian Super League 2025-26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Monday, March 16, 2026.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 19:30 IST, and will be streamed live on FanCode and telecast on Sony Sports TEN 2.
FC Goa who are unbeaten in their first four matches of the season, including two wins and as many draws, will be up against Punjab FC, who themselves are unbeaten in their last two games. The Goan outfit are currently fourth in the table with eight points from four matches while Punjab are eighth with four points from three games.

In their previous round, FC Goa played out a goalless draw against East Bengal FC in Kolkata, while Punjab were held to a 1-1 draw against NorthEast United in New Delhi.
Speaking ahead of the match, FC Goa head coach Manolo Márquez said, “Against East Bengal, the team played with a lot of personality and kept possession for long periods. We would like to continue playing in the same way against Punjab. The atmosphere in the dressing room is very good and that helps the team move in the right direction.”
Punjab FC could not find the winner in their previous match against NorthEast United after dominating the game for most periods.

Punjab FC head coach Pangiotis Dilmperis said, “We need faster decision-making and better quality in our final actions. In the last match we delivered the ball into the opponent’s box 26 times while they entered ours only twice. We must improve our finishing and decision-making to convert those opportunities into goals.”
Speaking about the opposition, the greek coach said, “FC Goa are a very good team with a clear plan and strong players. Our target is to continue the defensive performance from the previous games, limit their chances near our box and improve our finishing so we can score goals.”
Márquez too had similar respect for the opposition, “They are a strong side that plays with intensity and pace and they have started the season well. It will definitely be a challenging match for us,” he said.

FC Goa have never lost a match against Punjab FC in ISL and they will hope to maintain that record while Punjab FC will hope to get their first win against their opponents. In four previous encounters, FC Goa have won three matches and the other one ended in a draw. In the previous fixture in New Delhi last season, FC Goa edged the hosts by a goal by.
FC Goa striker Ishan Pandita said on the eve of the match, “Every season is important for a player, but this one means even more to me considering everything that has happened in the last two or three years. It’s a great opportunity for me to get more minutes on the pitch, grow as a player, keep improving my game and show everyone what I am capable of doing for the team,” he said.
FC Goa are likely to miss Muhammed Nemil and Mohammad Yasir due to injury while Punjab FC are also expected to take the field without the services of their captain Nikhil Prabhu and forward Muhammad Suhail.

Bijoy Varghese who started as the centre back for Punjab FC in all three games said, “I am thankful to the coach for trusting me in the centre-back position. I am learning his style of football, working hard in training and trying to improve every day to help the team perform better.”
Both teams will look to maintain their unbeaten run with a crucial win as both coaches will like to stick to their game style and secure the points.
