Tim Cahill will play his final international match for the Australian football team when the Socceroos take on Lebanon at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Tuesday. The match will mark the end of a glittering 14-year-long career for the Australian legend, who is also his country's all-time top scorer.

Cahill, who is playing for Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19, announced his retirement from international football after the recent FIFA World Cup in Russia but will be seen donning the famous green and gold for one final time in his farewell match.

The Australia legend has scored 50 times in his 107 international appearances so far and has represented his country in four World Cups.

Cahill has already marked his presence in the Hero ISL with a goal for Jamshedpur against Kerala Blasters FC.
