ATK Mohun Bagan head coach Antonio Habas was satisfied by his side’s performance after their clash against Chennaiyin FC ended in a draw despite the Mariners taking the lead at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda on Saturday in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).

Liston Colaco’s strike in the 18th minute had put ATK Mohun Bagan in the driver’s seat to clinch the three points on offer, however, Vladimir Koman’s equaliser in the dying minutes of first half as Chennaiyin FC came back in the match as the two sides shared the spoils.

Habas spoke to the media after the match.

Here are the excerpts from his post-match press conference.

You think your team could have done better to capitalise on the momentum after Liston’s goal?

I think the thing we didn't see from players this match was disciplinary tactics. I am very happy with the performance of the team. We have Chennai who is a good team also. The score is fair and we have to grow everyday because for me it was a satisfactory performance from the team.

Other teams are also playing three games a week but your team looks a little more tired, what is the reason for that?

No, because we have to recover everyday and we don’t have any time.It is the same for all the opponents. I have been watching the other matches and it is normal in the other teams. The weather, humidity, and travel in the bus almost 120 minutes a day is hard. They get physically (tired) and they don’t respond very well.

Are you worried about the team's troubles in transition?

Today, the team was solid in defending and attack, in both transitions maybe we have to be pressing in attack and more possibilities to counter attack this. We had the opportunity to last pass, I think the performance was okay and now we have to improve for the next match.

Did you feel you could have had the substitutions a bit earlier?

No, because the team was okay. They play well, the substitutions are for changes of improving and I think that the substitution wasn’t in the moment.
