In the last few weeks, several Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) stars have stepped forward to help out in different ways amid the ongoing lockdown to combat the ongoing novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Defender Subhasish Bose, too, joined the likes of Jeje Lalpekhlua, CK Vineeth and others, and extended a helping hand to those who need in these testing times.

The 24-year-old, who enjoyed a stellar season with Mumbai City FC in Hero ISL 2019-20, is currently back at his native place Subhashgram in West Bengal and is doing in part in helping out the community. The ongoing lockdown has brought the world to a standstill and the poor have been the ones worst hit with avenues of generating even the basic income for daily essentials dwindling.

To help out the ones in need, the India international has been handing out food and necessities to the needy to aid them in navigating through these tough times.

The youngster also urged his fellow countrymen to do the same and stand by the ones in need. “Everyone has been badly affected because of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. I have tried to stand by them and help them. I request you all to do the same,” Subhasish stated.

Subhasish also issued a plea to everyone to follow the lockdown protocols and abide by the proposed safety measures as much as possible in order to beat the pandemic. “I request you all the stay indoors and abide by the lockdown. Stay home, stay safe, stay healthy,” he noted.
