SC East Bengal announced the signing of forward Rahul Paswan on Thursday for the remainder of their Hero Indian Super League (ISL) campaign.

"It's a dream come true for me, joining a prestigious club like SC East Bengal. Every footballer from Bengal aspires to play for these big teams and I am no exception. I will look forward to giving my best and helping the team in whatever way I can.”, said the young striker.

The 23-year-old played for BSS Sporting Club in the Calcutta Football League and topped the goal-scoring charts with six goals.

"Paswan is a good, young talent. He is a good addition to the side and I am sure he will do well for us," said SCEB Head Coach Mario Rivera.

SCEB fans & Mario Rivera would want Paswan to hit the ground running as the Kolkata-based side has failed to score a single goal in three of their last five matches.
