Marquez feels satisfied with the outcome of the game and the effort his players put in.
“I am satisfied with the effort of my players,” Marquez stated in the post-match press conference.
“Maybe we will realize some games later how important this result was for us,” he added.
This game marked the beginning of a new era for Mumbai City FC under their new head coach, Petr Kratky. Although the match ended in a 0-0 stalemate, Marquez acknowledged Mumbai City FC's playing style and feels that the Islanders will become an even better team in the upcoming games.
“I think Mumbai City FC will win most of the games from now. It is because their offensive players are very dangerous in their new system,” Marquez said.
