Table-toppers FC Pune City were taken unawares by a spirited Kerala Blasters FC in the 2015 Hero Indian Super League on Wednesday as they lost 2-0 after Chris Dagnall and Sanchez Watt scored for the hosts either side of the break at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Pune head coach David Platt, speaking to the media after the match, took the blame for the defeat.“I think, first of all, I was too hasty to keep switching things around. I went wrong there, we started off pretty well but I was too hasty with the changes,” Platt told reporters after the match. The Englishman also admitted that Kerala, at the bottom of the league before the match, were desperate to get their campaign back on track and his team failed to match them in a game that saw the Blasters logging a record 32 shots on goal.“Yes, well they had to win matches and get points quickly and they had to put in the effort…We knew that would happen but then again we were a bit too hasty with changes,” Platt said.Pune have conceded 10 goals in eight matches so far. When asked to comment on that, Platt said: “Well, we haven't been making that many mistakes. The two goals that came in today were well-crafted goals."All four wins for Pune this season have come at home. When asked if that was a concern, Platt replied in the negative. “Our focus should be on the number of points we need to make the semis. I do not know what the target is going to be, I have no idea at all. But I've got plenty of games left for me to do that,” Platt said.
