Kerala Blasters FC coach Terry Phelan is not taking out-of-form defending champions Atlético de Kolkata lightly ahead of their 2015 Hero Indian Super League match at home on Tuesday. Phelan’s team, which is currently propping up the table on eight points from eight matches, have done well in the last two match having taken four points. Kerala Blasters FC’s opponents at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, on the other hand, seem to have fallen on hard times losing four out of their last five matches. However, at the pre-match press conference on Monday, Phelan didn’t lay much emphasis on the past results.“Calcutta is coming back from a defeat and we are aware of that,” he told reporters.“I think every game is a big game henceforth, every game we go into we have to go into it with the right attitude. We will be going into this game with the right attitude and to get the three points. If you can manage two or three wins in the next game it will propel you to the top half. We are very confident that we can go out there and grab the three points.”The Blasters played their last game on Wednesday while ATK had their last outing on Saturday. Phelan reckoned the rest factor could influence the outcome of the match. “Yes I do think that the boys will be fresh coming into this game. It's a happy camp at the moment, the players are excited and they know what to do. It will be nice to play up and fresh and we will see how it goes tomorrow night,” Phelan said.Phelan also provided an update on their search for injured marquee player Carlos Marchena’s replacement. “Like I said previously we were in touch with James McFadden but unfortunately he wants to stay back and be with his family in the UK which is understandable. We have another 4-5 players in our shortlist, we have to make sure we bring the right people in which is not easy because we're considering fitness as well. We might, we might not. That we'll have to see,” he said.
