Odisha FC goalkeeper Amrinder Singh has signed a three-year contract extension with the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) side, the club announced on their social handles on Thursday.

Singh joined Odisha FC ahead of the Hero ISL 2022-23 season on a one-year deal and played a big part in their success as they qualified for their first-ever Hero ISL playoffs. He made a total of 55 saves across 21 games while registering two clean sheets. He made a significant contribution during the recently-concluded Hero Super Cup as well, racking up the Golden Glove award as Odisha FC won their first silverware since inception.

Singh began his professional football career with Pune FC's youth team before being promoted to the senior team. He moved to ATK FC during the Hero ISL's 2015 edition and then joined Bengaluru FC on loan during the Hero I-League 2015-16 season.

He signed for the Blues on a permanent deal the following season, and was loaned out to Mumbai City FC during the 2016 edition. He amassed five clean sheets in six matches for the Islanders, winning the Golden Glove award in his debut season with the club. He joined MCFC on a permanent deal thereafter.

Singh continued his fine form during the Hero ISL 2017-18 season, keeping seven clean sheets in 19 matches and registering a total of 59 saves, the highest that season. Amrinder kept as many clean sheets the following season and once again topped the charts for the most saves by a keeper, helping Mumbai City FC reach the semi-final.

The Punjab-born kept four clean sheets during the 2019-20 season in what was a disappointing campaign for MCFC. Singh displayed his worth again during the Hero ISL 2020-21 campaign, tallying 10 clean sheets across 23 games as Mumbai City FC secured the League Shield and the Hero ISL trophy. After five seasons with the Islanders, Amrinder moved to ATK Mohun Bagan. He made a total of six shutouts during the 2021-22 season while making 55 saves, which was the second-highest tally in the league.

Meanwhile, Singh made his senior national team debut in 2017 against Mauritius and has been a regular part of the national team set up since then.
