Placed sixth on the 2015 Hero Indian Super League standings table, all eyes will be on Chennaiyin FC as they get ready to take on Delhi Dynamos at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. In the run-up to the match, the home side’s head coach Marco Materazzi addressed the media. Here are some excerpts from the interaction:“I think that even though they [Delhi Dynamos] are not desperate for a win, they will do what they did till now,” commented Materazzi on the visiting team’s strategy. “They will play for a win as they always do. Also, they would surely benefit from a win because if NorthEast beat Goa [on Wednesday], they would succeed them,” continued the former Italy international. “They have been a very good team. They have conceded very few goals. I can tell that it [winning over them] won’t be easy.”Even though his team will be playing two matches with minimal rest in between, the Chennaiyin FC coach seemed to be unfazed by it. “These are the rules and we respect the rules. We are treating each and every game as [a] final, either tomorrow or never.” Moreover, the Super Machans could use the boost that they earned from their win in the last game and will look to employ it in the upcoming fixture. “I knew what my team is capable of from the first game. What we have to do is give everything we can as we have done till now. But as you know, it [the result] does not just depend on us. It depends on other teams too.”The fans, however, will be missing out on Jayesh Rane’s exploits. “Jayesh has had an injury on his ankle and he is not fit yet. I can't risk him now,” said Materazzi, while giving an update on the young striker’s fitness levels.
