Indian football team head coach Igor Stimac on Tuesday announced a new list of 15 players who will join the national team's training camp in preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifier matches in June.

The newly named players come from the Indian Super League (ISL) teams, Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mumbai City FC. These teams faced off in the ISL final last Saturday, with Mumbai City FC emerging victorious. The 15 players includes the likes of Sahal Abdul Samad and Phurba Lachenpa from these teams will join the camp on May 15th, with the camp officially starting on May 10th and running for four weeks.

Previously, Stimac had announced a 26-member provisional squad, including some fresh faces like Jithin MS and Parthib Gogoi, among others.

India has two crucial World Cup qualifier games scheduled for June. First, they will play Kuwait at home, followed by a match against Qatar in Doha. Currently, India is tied with Afghanistan for second place in their World Cup qualifying group.
