Jamshedpur FC’s Midfielder Greg Stewart feels that it is too early to look at the league table after thrashing Odisha FC 4-0 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-2022 at the Tilak Maidan, on Tuesday.

Greg Stewart became the first hat-trick scorer of this season as his goals propelled Jamshedpur FC to second spot in the table.

While speaking in the post-match presentation Stewart said, “As last week, we conceded three goals after the first half so it feels nice to be on the other side. It also feels nice to get a clean sheet. This is an important win and I am delighted for the boys. It is too early to look at the league table. Right now, it is just about keeping our composure and I am just happy for my team."

Odisha FC tried to come back into the match but couldn’t breach Owen Coyle's men's defence in the second half.

Odisha Centre-Back Víctor Mongil after the match said, “Today we had a very hard game. We need to learn from our mistakes. This is football. We need to forget about this game and focus on the next game. Congratulations to Jamshedpur FC. They played really well and killed the game in the first half."

Head Coach Coyle remained composed after winning the battle of wits.

In post mast presentation Coyle said, “I am happy with both the clean sheet and the score. We could have scored more. We had wonderful chances. Odisha FC is a good and dynamic side. But we knew if we kept our defensive shape we could beat them. Today everyone played their part. We have some big games coming up and we have to capitalize and pick all three points from them."

This win puts Jamshedpur FC second on the points table. They will be up against Bengaluru FC on Monday, while Odisha FC's next fixture is against Chennaiyin FC on coming Saturday.
