He scored the opening goal of the game for Dempo but also scored the equalising goal in the 89th minute as the match ended in a 2-2 draw. For his first he simply nodded in from a Jewel Raja (FC Goa) corner aided by a shabby bit of goalkeeping. Amiri scored his second in the dying minutes of the game as Dempo were trailing by a goal. It was an all-out team goal with Gabriel Fernandes (FC Goa) starting the move by finding Amiri. Amiri released Francis Fernandes (Delhi Dynamos FC) on the right as he headed home from the return cross.
