The Indian Super League’s (ISL) official Fantasy game is back after a topsy-turvy first campaign and promises to be better and bigger in the 2024-25 season. 

The ISL is now a 13-team affair with the addition of Mohammedan SC who became the second club after Punjab FC to secure promotion to the league. 

Their inclusion means that the season will see more matches and thereby more matchweeks in ISL Fantasy. It thus translates to more drama, more fun and many more selection headaches for ISL Fantasy managers. 

ISL Fantasy 2024-25 will largely follow the same format and rules from last season with a few key tweaks.

What’s changed in 2024-25?

New scoring metrics: ISL 2024-25 will give the Fantasy managers a bit more to think about with two additional scoring metrics. Unlike last season, there will be one point scored each for every 15 passes completed and 2 interceptions. This will mean defensive-minded players will also come into the mix and can be valuable assets to your ISL Fantasy teams thanks to their ability to keep the ball moving and also break up play. 

Transfer Roll over: ISL Fantasy will now allow managers to roll a transfer over if they feel they don’t need to make any changes to their existing team. ISL Fantasy Managers will get one free transfer every week and they can save up to three free transfers by rolling a free transfer over to the next matchweek if they don’t intend to use one. This will add another strategic element to the game, making it more interesting for the managers. 

Higher salaries, smaller fluctuations: The salaries for the players have slightly increased in ISL Fantasy 2024-25 which will not make it easier for ISL Fantasy managers to make a team and they will have to put all their research into play to build a robust team. However, the salary increments will be at a much lower rate as compared to last season, so ISL Fantasy managers who may have missed out on picking a top-performing asset early on would have the chance to make a comeback.

ISL Fantasy 2024-25 will be extremely rewarding with a total of 123 prizes on offer giving ISL Fantasy managers plenty of opportunities to land big rewards during and at the end of the season.

• Matchweek winners
• Club Monthly winners
• Playoff winners
• League winners
