Last season’s Indian Super League (ISL) semi-finalists Odisha FC will begin their campaign with a home clash against Chennaiyin FC. This will mark the second consecutive season that the Kalinga Warriors face the Marina Machans in their opening ISL fixture. In their first encounter last season, Odisha FC secured a 2-0 victory at home.

Odisha FC benefit from a favourable run of opening fixtures, facing teams that did not advance to last season’s semi-finals. Of their first five matches, four will be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, where they impressively remained unbeaten at home throughout the entire season, becoming only the second ISL club to achieve such a feat.

Sergio Lobera’s squad will have three fixtures each from September to November, but December poses a tougher challenge with four matches against formidable opponents. They will host Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City FC within a span of five days, followed by away games in Kolkata against East Bengal FC and debutants Mohammedan SC during that month.
