Matchweek 6 of the Indian Super League (ISL) was an intense affair, with engaging battles all around the pitch. It was a highly engaging matchweek in which a total of four red cards were brandished during games. Out of the eight games played in this matchweek, there were three incredible comeback victories. Matchweek 6 saw a total of 24 goals scored across eight matches. There were only two matches in which clean sheets were kept. There were only two draws recorded in this matchweek. FC Goa's 3-0 victory against Chennaiyin FC was also more difficult than the scoreline really suggests.

Sachin Suresh (Kerala Blasters FC)

The Kerala Blasters FC goalkeeper was in top form this matchweek. Despite not being able to keep a clean sheet. He thwarted East Bengal FC captain Cleiton Silva's penalty attempts twice, with the second attempt leading to a penalty retake. In addition to the penalty save, he made a couple of stunning saves to help his team earn three points in this match.

Defenders

Nikhil Poojary (Hyderabad FC)

The Hyderabad FC right-back made several key contributions from the right flank of the Hyderabad FC defence in both matches against Bengaluru FC and Punjab FC. He also made a significant number of tackles and interceptions, which contributed to Hyderabad FC's ability to secure crucial points in both games.

Amey Ranawade (Odisha FC)

The Odisha FC defender showcased a strong performance in both the defensive and attacking thirds of the pitch, contributing significantly to Odisha FC's victories against Bengaluru FC and NorthEast United FC this matchweek. Ranawade scored the all-important winning goal against the Blues.

Jay Gupta (FC Goa)

After bagging the Emerging Player award for October, the FC Goa full-back continued his impressive run of form against Chennaiyin FC. Gupta provided a wonderful assist for Boris Singh and also helped his side keep another clean sheet as the Gaurs secured a convincing 3-0 win over Chennaiyin FC.

Midfielders

Adrian Luna Captain (Kerala Blasters FC)

The Uruguayan attacking midfielder was in dazzling form once again this week. His performance was one of the major reasons for Kerala Blasters FC's victory against East Bengal FC in Kolkata. He provided a delightful assist for Daisuke Sakai who buried the ball in the back of the net to give Kerala Blasters FC the lead in the game.

Rowlin Borges (FC Goa)

The experienced Indian defensive midfielder put in a solid shift for FC Goa against Chennaiyin FC. He not only protected the FC Goa backline throughout the game but also scored a stunning goal from outside the box to open his goal-scoring tally with the Gaurs in the league this season.

Puitea (Odisha FC)

Puitea put in a tremendous shift against Bengaluru FC in their first game of the Double Matchweek where netted a spectacular goal from long range to initiate the comeback for his team against the Blues. The midfielder also played a key role in the next game against NorthEast United FC.

Apuia Ralte (Mumbai City FC)

The Mumbai City FC midfielder turned in a commendable performance in the match against Punjab FC. His resolute display in the centre of the park galvanized the comeback victory against the Shers. He seamlessly transitioned between defensive and attacking roles throughout the match, effectively neutralizing Punjab FC's threats.

Forwards

Ryan Williams (Bengaluru FC)

The Australian forward was in fine form in this matchweek. He scored a goal each in both of the fixtures that Bengaluru FC played this week. 

Jorge Pereyra Diaz (Mumbai City FC)

The Argentine forward put on a commendable attacking display this matchweek. His unwavering determination resulted in a crucial goal that clinched the comeback victory for his team against Punjab FC.

Liston Colaco (Mohun Bagan Super Giant)

The Indian forward put in a wonderful performance in this matchweek. His performance helped Mohun Bagan Super Giant seal an incredible comeback victory against Jamshedpur FC. He scored one of the three Mohun Bagan Super Giant goals of the match and was a dangerous threat throughout the game against Jamshedpur FC.
