As the curtain closes on the Hero Super Cup 2023 in Kerala it’s time to reflect on some of the key numbers from the tournament. The cup competition returned this year after a four-year gap caused by the Covid pandemic.

This was the first time the Hero Super Cup was played in a single round-robin format, with the top team from each of the four groups advancing to the semi-final. The previous two editions of the tournament were conducted in a single-elimination format.

The third edition of the Hero Super Cup ended on a bright note for Odisha FC as they emerged victorious over inaugural champions Bengaluru FC with a 2-1 score in the final. Odisha FC's victory in the tournament has granted them the chance to participate in the AFC Cup Qualifier on April 29, Saturday. Throughout the tournament, there were surprises, shocks, stunning comebacks, spectacular goals, and tough tackles.
