NorthEast United FC endured a difficult season in the Hero ISL 2021-22 season as the Guwahati-based side failed to make it to the semi-finals and finished tenth in the league standings with 14 points.
The Highlanders, however, have made significant reinforcements hiring Marco Balbul as their new head coach for the upcoming season. Under Bulbul, NEUFC have roped in Jithin MS, Gaurav Bora, Emil Benny, Arindam Bhattacharja in the domestic section along with the likes of Jon Gaztanaga, and Michael Jakobsen in the foreign department.
Balbul’s side will be hoping to make it count as they venture into the new season with fresh faces, unique footballing ideology, and a different identity.
