The round 8 of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 saw resurgence of some clubs and a shift in momentum. There were 12 goals scored in a week which with quite a few draws.

It started with Jamshedpur FC playing out a goalless draw with Bengaluru FC. Contrastingly, in the following match ATK Mohun Bagan piped NorthEast United FC 3-2 in a thrilling match.

In match 38, Kerala Blasters registered their third win of the season against Chennaiyin FC and moved into the top four. They are now levelled on points with Jamshedpur FC and Hyderabad FC.

The last two matches, Hyderabad FC versus SC East Bengal and Odisha FC versus FC Goa, of round eight ended in a one-all draw.

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu - 8.83

The Bengaluru FC shot stopper faced five shots at goal in the match against Jamshedpur FC. He saved all of them and kept a clean sheet.

Alan Costa - 7.36

The Bengaluru FC player made four tackles, four clearances, two interceptions and one tackle in the Jamshedpur FC encounter.

The man from Kerala scored a goal and created a chance against Chennaiyin FC. Moreover, he made seven tackes, two blocks and three interceptions.

The Spaniard had two shots on target and created four chances. He attempted nine tackles and made one block.

Hugo Boumous - 9.35

The striker scored two goals and created seven chances. He attempted four tackles and made one interception and block.

Jonathas Cristian - 8.14

The Brazilian scored one goal and created two chances in an important bid to equalise the scoreline against FC Goa.

Colaco’s goal inspired a comeback from ATK Mohun Bagan. He attempted seven shots at goal.
