Round 5 began with a high-scoring match between tail-enders SC East Bengal and FC Goa where the latter overpowered the former with the scoreline of 4-3 and registered their first win of the season.
Hyderabad FC maintained their consistency with a 1-0 victory against Bengaluru FC while Mumbai City FC handed Jamshedpur FC their first defeat of the season in another high-scoring match which ended 4-2.
Further, Odisha FC got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory against NorthEast United FC, and Chennaiyin FC remained the only team to not lose a single game of the Hero ISL 2021-22 season after they shared the spoils with ATK Mohun Bagan in a 1-1 draw, concluding Round 5.

Goalkeeper
Laxmikant Kattimani (Hyderabad FC) - 8.08
Kattimani was a wall at the back for Hyderabad FC, saving three shots and keeping a clean sheet - being one of the only two keepers to keep a clean sheet in Round 4.
Defenders
Akash Mishra (Hyderabad FC) - 7.88
The left-back was influential in helping Hyderabad FC win as he provided an assist and also created two chances in the match. Defensively, Mishra made two successful tackles, three clearances, three interceptions, and three blocks. Influential at both ends of the pitch.
Rahul Bheke (Mumbai City FC) - 7.79

Bheke was rock solid in the defense as he made eight clearances and three blocks along with a passing accuracy of 89%. The centre-back also provided an assist and created a goalscoring chance.
Gaurav Bora (Odisha FC) - 7.41

Bora played an excellent game throughout the 90 minutes, keeping the NorthEast United FC attackers at bay by making two successful tackles, three clearances, one interception, and one block.
Midfielders
Alberto Noguera (FC Goa) - 10
A perfect 10 on 10 for the Spaniard as he netted two goals and created four goalscoring chances for his side. The 32-year-old was in fiery form and shaked SC East bengal’s defence throughout the game, winning the Hero of the Match award.
Cassio Gabriel (Mumbai City FC) - 9.09
Gabriel was instrumental for his side, scoring a goal and providing two assists in the game. The midfielder also created three chances and directed the tempo of the game for Mumbai City FC. Following his outstanding performances, Gabriel was adjudged the Hero of the Match award winner.
Vladimir Koman (Chennaiyin FC) - 8.34

Koman’s late first-half equaliser salvaged a point for his side, continuing their unbeaten run of four games to the next round.
Ahmed Jahouh (Mumbai City FC) - 7.69
Mumbai City FC’s no. 10 was once again their powerhouse, creating two chances, and making 61 successful passes - the most in the match. Defensively too, Jahouh was sharp, making two successful tackles, three clearances, and four interceptions.
Forwards
Jorge Ortiz (FC Goa) - 9.43

The 29-year-old striker was pivotal for FC Goa, getting involved in all the four goals scored for his side. Ortiz netted one and provided two assists for his side besides creating four goalscoring chances for his team.
Bartholomew Ogbeche (Hyderabad FC) - 8.15
The Nigerian forward fired the only goal of the match within ten minutes of the game. Ogbeche also created four chances for his side and was lethal in the attack.
Greg Stewart (Jamshedpur FC) - 7.92
Stewart came to his side’s rescue by providing an assist for his side’s first goal of the game alongside creating three chances.
