The round 21 of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 saw some key moments in the race to the top four and battle for the League Winners' Shield turn an exciting corner.

The round started with ATK Mohun Bagan comfortably defeating Bengaluru FC 2-0. In the following game, bottom two sides, NorthEast United FC and SC East Bengal played out a 1-1 draw.

Match three of the round saw Jamshedpur FC defeat Hyderabad FC 3-0 and moved to the top of the table. In the next match, Kerala Blasters FC defeated Mumbai city FC 3-1 and broke into the top four.

The round ended with ATK Mohun Bagan defeating Chennaiyin FC 1-0, qualifying for the semi-finals in successive seasons.

The midfielder assisted two goals and created nine chances in total, earning him the Hero of the Match award against Hyderabad FC that took Men of Steel to the top of the league standings. Defensively, he made three blocks and a tackle as well.
