Round 16 of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) witnessed gruelling fightbacks, solid striking and thrilling individual performances.

It all started with Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan sharing points after a goalless second-half restricted the two sides to 1-1. Then, Kerala Blasters FC registered a comprehensive 2-1 win against NorthEast United FC.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru FC conceded a goal in the first minute but the Blues found the resolve to come back and take the game 3-1.

In the last two matches of the round, Mumbai City FC recorded their first win in 7 matches, defeating Chennaiyin FC 1-0 and Odisha FC beat SC East Bengal 2-1 to clinch three important points.

Mohamad Nawaz (Mumbai City FC) - 7

The only keeper to maintain a clean sheet this round, Nawaz found solid footing and made important clearances against Chennaiyin FC.

Defenders :

Subhashish Bose (ATK Mohun Bagan) - 7.55

Bose attempted seven tackles, two interceptions and blocks each while also creating a chance in the mega clash versus Mumbai City FC.

Nishu Kumar (Kerala Blasters FC) - 7.52

Silva provided the Blues with an assist, made six tackles, and two successful interceptions to help them win three points.

Hugo Boumous (ATK Mohun Bagan) - 8.02

Boumous arrived in form against Mumbai City FC, to create five chances, provide an assist and make seven tackles.

Cleiton Silva (Bengaluru FC) - 9.34

Silva’s brace helped the Blues bounce back in the match against Jamshedpur FC despite trailing behind at the start.

Jonathas Cristian (Odisha FC) - 8.93

Cristian played a key role in Odisha’s win over SC East Bengal as he scored the opening goal and helped take the lead with an assist.
