Round 14 of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) presented some remarkable performances, decisive moments, and intense battles for a top four finish.

The round began with Hyderabad FC decimating SC East Bengal in a 4-0 victory. The next bout saw Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru FC extended their unbeaten run to seven games as they completed the league double over fellow rivals Chennaiyin FC in a 3-0 victory. Odisha FC and Hyderabad FC produced a nail-biting encounter as the latter came from behind to register a 3-2 victory over the Juggernauts.

The round was concluded by Jamshedpur FC who wrapped up FC Goa in a 1-0 win and extended their winning streak to three games.

Goalkeeper

Laxmikant Kattimani (Hyderabad FC) - 8.57

The shot-stopper showed his might as he maintained his second clean sheet of the season while also saving a penalty in the game against SC East Bengal. Kattimani saved four out of five shots he faced on goal.

Defenders

Mohamed Irshad (NorthEast United FC) - 7.11

The defender who came on as a substitute for Sehnaj Singh stole the points from Mumbai City FC with his equaliser from the corner. In just 17 minutes, Irshad made the difference for his side.

Roshan Naorem (Bengaluru FC) - 7.8

The side-back kept his calm and created three goalscoring chances for his side while also making four blocks, three successful tackles, two clearances, and one interception.

Parag Shrivas (Bengaluru FC) - 7.41

Shrivas was defensively sound as he made five clearances, four blocks, two interceptions, and two successful tackles.

Akash Mishra (Hyderabad FC) - 7.96

In the game against SC East Bengal, Mishra made five clearances, five interceptions, and one successful tackle. In the Odisha FC game, the side-back won the Hero of the Match award for his stellar performance as he scored the match winner and provided an assist for the equaliser along with creating three goalscoring chances.

Midfielders

Ahmed Jahouh (Mumbai City FC) - 9.22

The midfielder slotted one home from the penalty spot to draw first blood for his side. Jahouh was the most influential player in his team as he took the most touches (103), created five goalscoring chances, made five blocks, four successful tackles, three clearances, and three interceptions.

Joao Victor (Hyderabad FC) - 8.45

Victor netted the second goal for his side against Odisha FC. Defensively, the midfielder made two successful tackles, two interceptions, and one clearance in the game against Odisha FC.

Edu Bedia (FC Goa) - 8.03

Bedia was unfortunately on the receiving end of the contest, as he took two out of three shots on target, had a pass accuracy of 83%, took 104 touches, but couldn’t register a goal. The midfielder also made three successful tackles, two interceptions, and two blocks.

Forwards

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Hyderabad FC) - 10

A ten-on-ten performance by the 37-year-old as he scored the perfect hat-trick against SC East Bengal and also won the Hero of the Match award for his marvellous performance. Ogbeche leads the race for the Golden Boot with 12 goals to his tally.

Udanta Singh (Bengaluru FC) - 9.47

Singh scored a brace against rivals Chennaiyin FC while having a 100% conversion rate as he converted both of his shots. In the defensive unit, the forward made three successful tackles, three blocks, one clearance, and one interception.

Joel Chianese (Hyderabad FC) - 8.47

The 31-year-old scored the equalizer for his side against Odisha FC while also creating three goalscoring chances. Chianese converted the only shot on target he took and also made three successful tackles and blocks.
