Despite his side slumping to a 2-1 defeat to Mumbai City FC on Sunday night and their qualification for the semi-finals not yet secure, Atlético de Kolkata head coach Antonio López Habas attended the post-match press conference looking rather confident.“We are not worried. We have a home game (against FC Goa) on Wednesday (December 10). If we win we don’t have to worry about anyone, whether Pune City, Kerala Blasters or Delhi Dynamos,” said the Spanish gaffer at the media interaction.Habas reiterated his faith in his team, who were on top of the table from the first round till the tenth, to do the job. “I trust my players and we will do our best to go through. We would have liked to go through but it’s sport,” commented Habas. Asked for the reason for their dip in form, Habas said, “As you know, we stayed on top for the first ten rounds. We thought we had qualified and maybe that’s why we were slack.”The Spaniard, who was the Bolivia manager in the 1990s, also expressed satisfaction over his team’s showing but said a little tweaking would have to be done. “We are playing at a high level. We are controlling the game, but we have to change to reach the semis,” he said. Kolkata have played their last four games away from home and Habas was critical of this fact, saying that he had never seen anything like it before. With regard to a few decisions going against his team, Habas said he was not sure if the goals that were scored were from a clearly offside position but conceded that “Mumbai played well and deserved to win”.Mumbai scored their winning goal from a set piece taken by Lalrindika Ralte and finished off by a Manuel Friedrich header. When asked if his defence could have done better to prevent the goal, he replied, “It was our first game conceding a goal like this. But that happens.”
