Following a 2-1 win against Chennaiyin FC in the Hero Indian Super League on Wednesday evening, Atletico de Kolkata head coach Antonio Lopez Habas was happy to have registered a win at home after a considerable period. This was ATK’s first win at home since their losses to Delhi Dynamos FC and NorthEast United FC. With the come-from-behind win at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, the defending champions moved up to second in the table behind FC Goa and Habas was pleased as punch.“It was a very important match for us. Today was a very difficult game, Chennaiyin took the lead. I have to congratulate my players for playing tactically and we will be confident going into the next game,” the Spaniard told reporters after the match.However, Habas refused to look too far ahead as regards his team’s semi-final chances. “I don’t want to talk about the semis. I want to talk about the next match. I have to prepare for the next game and I don’t want to think far ahead,” he said.Meanwhile, Chennaiyin FC head coach Marco Materazzi admitted that following the defeat his bottom-dwelling team was in deeper water. “It was difficult for us even before this game, but our side will try till the end,” he said.However, the Italian refused to blame his players. “I don’t really have anything to complain about my players. We did take the lead and were better than our opponents. We kept on trying so I have no complain regarding my players,” he said.ATK now will play current leaders FC Goa in Kolkata on Sunday and Habas was looking forward to the match. “We will have a difficult match, we need the points and Goa need the points; maybe we will have a similar game as today,” he said.
