FC Pune City will be looking for their third successive win in Hero Indian Super League 2016 when they take on Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday. The Stallions head into the contest high on confidence after registering back-to-back wins against Atlético de Kolkata and Mumbai City FC in their last two matches. A win for Pune on Tuesday will see them break into the top 4, while also handing Chennaiyin, who are winless in their last five matches, their third successive defeat.Pune head coach, Antonio Habas, however, made it clear that he expects a tough match against the Super Machans. “It is difficult for coaches to gel a team together in just one and half months and make them a strong team. Every team wants to make the semi-finals and win in the last four games, same with Chennai. It will be a tough game tomorrow because there are chances for all teams in the last four games and we are expecting a very strong Chennai team,” Habas told reporters at the pre-match press conference. The Stallions have picked up seven out of their 12 points on their travels in Hero ISL 2016. When asked if playing the reigning champions away gives them an edge tomorrow, Habas said: “When we started this season, I was banned for the first four games. So, to get the team with new players organised was difficult but now we our adapting to the high intensity attacking game and it will be a good game to play Marco Materazzi’s Chennai. We hope that after tomorrow’s game everyone talks only about football.”Eugeneson Lyngdoh made his first appearance for Pune following AFC Cup participation against Mumbai City FC in the Stallions’ last outing. The 30-year-old came off the bench at the start of the second half to score the winner against their Maharashtra rivals. Commenting on the importance of Lyngdoh in the last few matches of the league stage, Habas said: “Eugene is a big player but for me, he is one of the players at my disposal. I give certain responsibilities to all the players on the pitch. He is a big player and he will give more but he is one important player in our squad. That’s it.”Eduardo Ferreira, who has been an inspirational presence at the back for Habas’ men this year, also accompanied the 59-year-old Spaniard to the press conference. When asked for his thoughts on his first Hero ISL season, Ferreira said: “It has been good here and I like it, enjoying it. We have good players and every game is tight and the quality is good. We are working hard and I am very happy to be in Pune City.”
