FC Pune City may have lost two out of their three 2016 Hero Indian Super League games but defender Gouramangi Singh doesn’t think it’s the end of the road for the Stallions, who will host Kerala Blasters FC at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Balewadi on Monday. It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Pune so far with their away win against FC Goa sandwiched between their home defeats against Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC. Gouramangi, speaking to the media on Sunday, wasn’t too downbeat about his team’s performance so far.“It’s not how we wanted to start the league. But it’s too early to say that we have had a bad performance. We have been preparing and we will approach tomorrow’s game positively and look for a win. If we win and get the three points, we will move up in the table. We would have loved to have started the season with more wins but that’s over now. We have prepared a lot for tomorrow and we look forward to three points tomorrow,” the 30 year-old-said.“It’s too early to conclude all this. We could have done better, I could have done better and the whole team knows we could have done better but there is no doubt in us that we can do better and we go in the game tomorrow better prepared.”Assistant coach Miguel was on the same page with Gouramangi when asked if he thought two losses at home can affect them psychologically for Monday’s game. “No, we approach every game in the same way, home or away. For us, it’s the work towards the three points. We would have loved to have more points but nothing we can do now. All we can do is work tomorrow to win three points.Miguel also analysed his team’s performance in the previous games. “We played in Goa better than we did in our first game here against Mumbai. That was a positive. Here we played NorthEast and they are a good team and they are right now in form. We couldn’t neutralize them. For tomorrow, we will do our best to start getting three points at home and climb the table,” he said.Miguel also informed that midfielder Lenny Rodriguez will miss the match on account of injury while defender Eduardo Ferreira won’t be available for selection due to his red card against NorthEast.
