Fredy Chawngthansanga extends stay at NorthEast United FC until 2027
The promising youngster made his ISL debut against East Bengal FC last season.

Indian Super League (ISL) side NorthEast United FC have confirmed that midfielder Fredy Chawngthansanga has signed a contract extension with the club.
The new deal will keep the promising youngster with the Highlanders until the end of the 2026–27 season. The 21-year-old joined the club last season from Bengaluru FC, where he impressed in the youth ranks under the guidance of current NorthEast United FC assistant coach Naushad Moosa.
Chawngthansanga made his ISL debut in a 1–0 away loss to East Bengal FC, coming on as a late substitute for Jithin MS.
