The Indian football team will take on Kuwait in their fifth match of the second round group stage of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on June 6.

The Blue Tigers are currently second in the table with four points from four games, tied with Kuwait but ahead on head-to-head. This match will notably be Indian captain Sunil Chhetri's final match in national colours, as the Blues' captain decided to draw the curtains on his international career last week.

Priced at Rs. 100 onwards, tickets for India's home fixture went live on BookMyShow on Wednesday. Fans eager to witness Chhetri's farewell game responded enthusiastically, with the initial batch of tickets selling out within two hours. However, for fans who missed out on purchasing a ticket, there's no need to despair, as the second batch of tickets will go on sale on Friday at 9 PM on BookMyShow.

India beat Kuwait in the opening fixture earlier in November, courtesy of a second-half strike from Manvir Singh. The Blue Tigers will play their final group-stage fixture against Qatar on June 11.
