Following a painful loss to ATK in their last match, Jamshedpur FC welcome Mumbai City FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Friday in what should be a tight affair. The Miners will look to bag all three points from the match as anything less could seriously dent their play-off ambitions.

Jamshedpur head coach Cesar Ferrando, during the pre-match press conference, stressed the importance of a win against Mumbai and said, "We are only thinking to win tomorrow. The rest of the matches are not important at the moment. We need to face Mumbai in the next match, and we need to be ready to win. The matches against Pune, Chennaiyin are not important at this moment. Tomorrow is the most important match of the season."

"It is difficult to win four matches, but we have to try to win. At this moment, we cannot focus on Chennaiyin or Pune. We have to focus only on Mumbai. Jamshedpur only sees Mumbai. If we lose to Mumbai, it will be difficult to be in the top four. So, we need to win," he added.

Asked about his assessment of Friday's opponents, the 59-year-old said, "I think Mumbai is a good team, a top team. They lost against Goa and from that they came back very well and played like a team. Tomorrow is a big match. We have to fight for every ball until the end of the match."

A number of injuries have left the Jamshedpur side severely depleted of late. Star striker Tim Cahill is out with a hand injury and Michael Soosairaj is expected to be unavailable for Friday's match. Speaking about the ongoing injury crisis, Ferrando said, "The problem in this team is not only Cahill. There’s Michael Soosairaj and Raju Gaikwad. This is the problem. I am a coach and I have to think with the players available at this moment in mind. I have to think about the best line-up for tomorrow."
