NorthEast United FC head coach Cesar Farias smells blood ahead of their Hero Indian Super League Season 2 game against Delhi Dynamos FC at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday. With 17 points from 12 matches, the Highlanders will do their semi-final chances a world of good if they win against the Lions, and Farias senses a great opportunity for his team.“Obviously, this is a great opportunity in front of us but as we said we take one game at a time. First we think about the game vs Delhi. It’s a final for us, we have two finals coming up but Delhi is the more important final at the moment. Delhi and Pune are two direct opponents, they are also fighting for qualification, so every point is important,” the Venezuelan told reporters on Friday.Delhi have been great at the back this season, however, in the last two matches they have conceded five goals, including a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Chennaiyin FC in their last match. When asked whether it was the best time for the Highlanders to attack their “shaken” rivals on Saturday, Farias said: “We can't let any team take the idea of how we play and take us out of our play. We've been developing some good football of our own and it represents the work that has been done by the team and the players. We have lots of respect for every opponent. This is a tough team and we're going to play with our idea that has allowed us to get points.”Farias also played down a suggestion that their lowly goal difference (-5) – only better than that of Mumbai City FC (-8) – was a matter of concern. “I know mathematics, but we are talking football here…Let's not get into the goal difference thing.”
