The Durand Cup 2023 is approaching its decisive phase. Following three weeks of thrilling group-stage matches, the competition now stands with the top eight teams. The quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place between August 24 and August 27.

Notably, the 132nd edition of this competition featured the participation of 24 teams. Six group winners and the two best second-placed teams have secured their spots in the knockout stage.

Six Indian Super League (ISL) clubs - Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC, FC Goa, East Bengal FC, NorthEast United FC, and Mohun Bagan Super Giant - have advanced to the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, Gokulam Kerala FC are the sole I-League club to progress to the knockout stages. Additionally, the Indian Army Red secured their place in the final eight after a nail-biting 0-0 draw against Rajasthan United FC on Monday.
