Delhi Dynamos came ever so close to recording their first away win against Kerala Blasters on Sunday.

In another possession-laden outing for Coach Harm’s players, the visitors hit the ground running with three points being the target for the visitors.

David James was made to work in the Kerala goal as close- and long-range shots from the Dynamos made sure that the action always stayed in the hosts’ half of the pitch.

The flashpoint of the game arrived in the 73rd minute. Kerala were lucky not to be down to ten men as Del Piero’s cross found Bruno Arias, who cut inside and saw his shot blocked by Cedric Hengbart using his hands.

Substitute Pavel Eliáš came agonisingly close to sealing all three points right at the death as he headed over the bar despite being unmarked inside the box from an Arias corner-kick.

The game ended with a 0-0 score line as the two teams remain at the same position in the Indian Super League (ISL).
