Mumbai City FC got their campaign up and running following registering their second successive win of the 2015 Hero Indian Super League when they beat FC Goa at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday and assistant coach Oscar Bruzon expressed his satisfaction at the way his team played against the table-toppers. “Extremely satisfied with the result and the performance,” Bruzon told reporters after the match.

Throughout the match, Mumbai showed a tendency to attack and got goals through Sunil Chhetri and Frederick Piquionne. On his team’s style of play, the Spaniard said: “We were trying to have ball possession and control the game through possession but FC Goa started strong. We started playing 4-4-2, but had problems on the wings. We are set strong in counter-attacks but that's not our only plan, it just worked for us today.”

When asked was he happy with his combinations so far in the league, Bruzon, whose team moved up to sixth in the table after the win, replied in the affirmative. “Our combinations are working. We were at the bottom of the table. We are a strong team and we are very confident, and we will be in the top spot,” he said.

Mumbai next play the in-form NorthEast United FC at home on Wednesday. Looking ahead to the game, Bruzon said: “The main problem is we have only 72 hours to prepare but we are taking the right measures and steps to win. We have already begun the recovery process, and the practice begins tomorrow.”
