The Indian football team's matches at the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar will be streamed Live on JioCinema and will be broadcasted on Sports18, it has been announced.

The Blue Tigers mark their fifth appearance on the biggest stage of Asian football following their 1964, 1984, 2011, and 2019 campaigns. Their best performance came in the 1964 edition when they finished runners-up in the tournament.

India have been drawn in Group B where their Asian dream kicks off on January 13, 2024, against Australia at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan. On January 18, they will lock horns with Uzbekistan at the same venue. To wrap up their group stage, Stimac's men will take on Syria on January 23 at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

As the lowest-ranked team in the group, India have a tough challenge ahead to make it through to the Round of 16 where only the top two teams from each group and the best four third-placed teams will qualify.

Seeing off a memorable 2023 where the Sunil Chhetri-led side bagged three trophies and showed significant improvement, India will look forward to continuing the same form hoping to create history in Qatar.

Stimac has named his 26-member squad for the AFC Asian Cup which includes Sunil Chhetri and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu. The duo will be making their third appearance at the continental event. They were a part of the Indian squad at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup which was also held in Qatar.
