Full-back Subhasish Bose parted ways with Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) outfit Mumbai City FC after two seasons, the Islanders announced on Monday. Subhasish played 34 matches for Mumbai City and was a mainstay in their run to the semi-final in the 2018-19 season.

“After two memorable seasons with the Islanders, Subhasish Bose leaves Mumbai City. Thank you for your contribution to the club. We wish you the best for what’s next,” Mumbai City announced on its official Twitter handle.

An academy product of Pune FC, Subhasish began his journey in the Hero ISL with Bengaluru FC during the 2017-18 season, reaching the final with the Blues and earning a runners-up medal. After winning the Hero Super Cup with Bengaluru later that season, he joined Mumbai City ahead of the following campaign.

During his last season with the Islanders, he scored once and assisted two goals. Defensively, the 24-year-old defender was quite adept as well, making 114 clearances, 56 tackles, 35 blocks and 26 interceptions.
