Jamshedpur FC stumbled to a 2-1 loss at the hands of FC Pune City at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 on Wednesday. Wellington Priori gave the visitors the lead in the opening period, however, two quick-fire strikes by the Stallions ensured that they secured maximum points from the encounter. Speaking to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the final whistle was Jamshedpur’s goal-scorer Priori, who shared his thoughts on the contest. Here are thpunee excerpts from the interview.

What do you think went wrong in the second half?

I really don’t know what happened in the second half but unfortunately, we allowed them (Jamshedpur) to score and we lost the game. It would have been a very important game for us and a very important win, but we lost and it happens in the game, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. We have to keep going and work hard and keep this race up and I still think we have good chances (of making the playoffs). So, let’s keep going.

Any words on the top four?

Yeah, I still think we are in the race, so we just have to keep going and work hard as we are doing. (And hopefully) have a bit of luck next time.

How well have you adapted to the Hero ISL?

I was here last year for NorthEast United FC, so I already knew the way they play and the way the championship goes and it was easy to adapt to this team because they’re young and they play the way I like. The coach gives me a lot of freedom and a lot of confidence, so it was easy to adapt for them.
